You can get to the top of the mountain very quickly, and stay at the top as long as you like. You can see all of El Paso, the border, northern Mexico, and the highway system. Fast trip back down too if there's not a...More

Truthfully, this "ride" is unimpressive. Better, higher, longer runs in Albuquerque. BUT, if you'd like an overview of bi-national El Paso, it's worth the modest fee. And when you come down, nachos are nearby.

The wife and I went up on the Aerial Tram on February 3rd, 2018. Plenty of parking was available and the ticket prices very reasonable. The park rangers are all very personable and the views absolutely spectacular. A few picnic tables are on the mountain...More

This is probably the most amazing experience in town. When you travel suspended on the air watching the surrounds is incredibly exiting. There's a Ranger on the cabin all the times and willing to share information about the park and more. When you reach the...More

The tram is probably one of the should do items on the lists of people visiting the borderland. It's a bit of Switzerland in the desert. The tram car originally from the old country was installed on the Franklin Mountains to service the transmitter antennas...More

There is plenty of parking and it's a short walk to the ticket booth. There is also a trail that runs up the mountain from the parking lot if you are feeling ambitious.

Pretty busy on a holiday weekend, but no problem on a regular, non-holiday weekend. But best to go early anytime.

Usually 6. Unfortunately on the return journey families don't want to split up, so sometimes the cars go down with only 2/3 people in. We had quite a wait at the top because of this.
