We took a ride to the top just for fun. It was a good time, the view is good. Wind can be a problem in the spring.

Stopped here on the way to Carlsbad Caverns. The view was really nice. Windy when you get to the top, but worth it. Gift shop was closed, so a little disappointing, but still would recommend going.

We went shortly after 10 AM Sunday morning. About an hour later the tram was closed due to high winds. Our kids picked up a Junior Ranger Workbook and earned a JR badge. We really enjoyed the view and picking out various landmarks. This was...More

We got a bit lost trying to find the tramway, but glad we didn't give up as the city lights of El Paso & Juarez was just spectacular !!

On a sunny and warm day we drove the Scenic Drive and discovered how close we were to the Wyler Aerial Tramway. The cable car ride up offered a spectacular view. With no wind or haze, getting to the top of Ranger Peak was well...More

Not the biggest, longest or nicest however it's definitely worth the visit. A fun short ride to a wonderful vista of the desert southwest and the furthest point west in Texas. Great views of El Paso, the Rio Grande valley, New Mexico and Mexico

It was a very nice thing to do with family. We get into the tram and got to the top and you can see Mexico from there!! It's not expensive and we were stopping at ElPaso so it was cool to do something there.

You can get to the top of the mountain very quickly, and stay at the top as long as you like. You can see all of El Paso, the border, northern Mexico, and the highway system. Fast trip back down too if there's not a...More

Truthfully, this "ride" is unimpressive. Better, higher, longer runs in Albuquerque. BUT, if you'd like an overview of bi-national El Paso, it's worth the modest fee. And when you come down, nachos are nearby.

There is plenty of parking and it's a short walk to the ticket booth. There is also a trail that runs up the mountain from the parking lot if you are feeling ambitious.

Pretty busy on a holiday weekend, but no problem on a regular, non-holiday weekend. But best to go early anytime.

Usually 6. Unfortunately on the return journey families don't want to split up, so sometimes the cars go down with only 2/3 people in. We had quite a wait at the top because of this.
