You need to make sure that you like the display that is on the schedule and that it appeals to the people you are taking there.

This is an essential museum for children in El Paso to visit. It is a SCIENCE museum, so expect the attractions to be about LEARNING science and ENCOURAGING it to be fun! I give it 4 stars only because the interior is old and a bit worn, but that's nothing they can't fix! Previously located on Santa Fe St, it... More

When you first walk into the museum (now housed in an old school), you can be a little disappointed. However, don't leave after your first impression! It appears very run-down with multiple exhibits cramped into a gymnasium. I am new to the city and visited back in August to help myself learn about and explore local community resources. I asked... This place can be somewhat expensive. The exhibits are also somewhat older, and if your kids ask employess a question... they wont always have an answer.

The Insights Science Museum is open again. I have visited the museum twice since the re-opening in June 2015 at the new location- 521 Tays St. El Paso, 79901. The museum is now housed in the old Alamo school building. Parking can be a bit tough to find- between Tays St and S. Hills St. on the North access street.... More

Thank you for posting this update about our upcoming reopening in our new location. We're currently renovating our new space to house some familiar and brand new exhibits. We plan to open in several phases as our exhibits will undoubtedly evolve to help meet community needs within our new space. Stay tuned for updates. For now, we aim to have... More

The building has been torn down to make way for a new baseball stadium. There is no longer an Insights Museum. Sorry, but it's gone. There are plans to build a new children's museum, but that's years into the future.

interesting for older kids if they have the time to really stay and take the time to experience each station for the facts.
