Famous pier is a long pier-lots fishermen. View looking down at the water once you get to end of pier is very scenic. Flags fly on each post. A really nice walk to end of pier.

Staying in Ventura for my birthday and to visit grown children. Like the area. Austen's is hit and miss. Wait staff not very accommodating when food criticized

We visited the city of Ventura this past weekend and from our hotel we walked to the pier very relaxing. It's very family oriented

After a long drive the beach is the place to relax. The Ventura Pier and Promenade are two places to do just that. Whether you want to stare out at the ocean and ponder life or people watch these two places are worth your time.

The pier is a wonderful piece of history and well worth the exercise of the walk to the end. It was great to meet the locals fishing off the pier and to see their catches.

I visited the pier after 5 pm. People were starting to pack up and leave. It is fun to watch the sailboats as they come and go.
