There on a Thursday while school is in section. So it was not crowded. Drove the whole parked. Walked a few trails. Took 20-30 photos and had a great time. Almost missed the 1906 bridge. A real gem. See the pictures.

Tranquil and the sunset was just beautiful. The lake is serene and the whole setup is just beautiful. With some great places to sit and enjoy the beauty of the mountains me the lake. Highly recommended

My family went down last summer, in typical me style I didn't check the weather so it started a cold drizzle 1/2 mile into our hike. But we enjoyed the experience anyway. We will be making a trip back. We hiked to the nature center...More

Loved the ice cold water in the summer! Little Niagra and all the other water holes are perfect to hang with the family, or by yourself.

I live in Sulphur, and bias aside, the Chickasaw National Recreation Area is one of the parks where I spend a lot of time. It has wonderful, semi-manicured trails that are clean but do not detract from the surrounding nature.

You can see bison, deer, and during the spring and summer take a plunge in the refreshing springs, creeks, and rivers running through the area. There’s also a nature museum.

My favorite spot in Oklahoma. There is so much to explore. Many trails to walk through beautiful woods. Swim in clear and cold water. The nature center is an interesting place to visit also.
