We came through Willcox for a day of wine tasting and I was very impressed with the Carlson Creek Wines. The 2011 Syrah was amazing and we bought two bottles of it before we left. Our host was wonderful and very friendly. For $10 dollars you get several tastings and you get to keep your glass. Definitely worth stopping by.

I was not overly impressed with the wines except for the Syrahs and the 2011 was till on sale for $10 and was a bargain. Like some of the other places we visited the gentleman running the tasting had no idea on how the wine was made. I am sorry but if your are going to sell and represent a... More

Our second stop of the day for a wine tasting. The tasting room is located in a small house close to the railroad tracks and just off E Maley Street. Small tasting area. A couch and table area and a high table that will seat maybe six. Arrived around noon time and it was busy. Pleasant lady in charge. Usual... More

We had a groupon deal making this a good value. I have to say the wines were not to my personal taste but still felt the value was good for the dollar. It would be nice if they offered something to cleanse our palate between tastings.

A group of us enjoyed a day of wine tasting in Willcox. This was our first time in the area (we've been to Sonoita a few times!) and I was pleasantly surprised! The tasting room here at Carlson is comfortable, it's a home turned into a tasting room. Super convenient--a handful of the tasting rooms are right in town and... More

Our host at the winery was friendly, knowledgeable and informative. We had a nice variety of good wines. We bought a couple that were on sale and continue to be surprised at the great quality of Arizona wines.

Willcox is a small town that is in the nascent phase of becoming a wine destination for Arizona, ala Walla Walla or Sonoma. One of the visionaries behind that goal is Bob Carlson who, along with his beautiful family, owns & operates Carlson Creek Vineyards. The small tasting room is located across from the railroad tracks and is the place... More

My husband & I stopped in Willcox over Memorial Day weekend to do a day of wine tasting around the town. Carlson Creek was one of our top 2 favorite wineries of the day. We prefer dry red wines & really liked Carlson Creek's Merlot, Syrah, & Rule of Three wines. The older lady working in the tasting room that... More

In a cute house across the railroad tracks from the main downtown shops. Had a 4 glass tasting. We took home the Rule of 3 which is a 3 blend and a syrah which has a nice kick . Nice lady serving. You will pay for the tasting but bring a glass from a prior tasting from other wineries and... More
