My granddaughters loved going there. Old farm house with demonstrations on cooking and sewing at special times. Old barn with pigs, chickens and horses used to farm. Also there is a lake where you can fish. The visitor center has an old school room there where they placed school with old school books, old desks, and a chalk board. Also... More

I go here several times a year to photograph the farm. There is more than just the farm. There are riding trails, fishing pond, hiking trails, and a nice little gift shop in the welcome center. The farm has seasonal activities, butchering a hog, maple sugaring, sheep shearing, etc. In addition the offer classes on baking, sausage making, etc. The... More

Great hikes, horse-back trails, ponds to 'ponder' or fish, bird-boxes abound. There is a riding center in back, if you don't own a horse. History recreated on the living farm. Indoor center for play and learning.

The title sums it up. This living farm has animals that you can get up to and pet. They have baby animals normally during the spring. Also at the nature center there is a penny candy store downstairs that is a blast and up stairs there is an interactive classroom and classic play house for kids. Also, on property is... More

Carriage Hill is a wonderful place to spend an afternoon, or take a walk around the lake. The animals, barn and penny candy store bring a time period back to life for a few minutes/

This is a great park especially for kids. Historical farm activities throughout the year provide a neat way for all ages to learn about things like sheep shearing, wool crafting, canning, etc.

This is literally one of my families favorite places to go! We even go in the winter time! We love the farm and seeing the animals. We go down to the creek and the kids romp around in it. Then we walk over to the lake. We have fished in it. We walk around it. We have even walked most... More

Carriage Hill is always a go to for us when we are looking for something fun yet inexpensive to do. You need to make sure you get there early enough to see everything and check the hours online before you go. I made the mistake of thinking they were open until 5 year round and that wasn't the case. Our... More
