Kids love kayaking here!

Our family rented 5 kayaks and loved the experience. Beautiful scenery and weather was nice when we were there. The wind started picking up in the afternoon. The only thing I... read more

Always a fun day. I recommend using Doug Rodricks at Sierra Drifters Guide Service. He's very knowledgeable and helpful. His gear is top notch and he's patient and helpful if you're a beginner. I can't say enough about his guiding services. We ALWAYS use Doug!

Went fly fishing on the lake over Labor Day weekend & had an excellent time. We went out with a guide we arranged thru the Crowley Lake store. He supplied everything. All we had to do was show up with our Calif. fishing license. We anchored in 10ft. of water at the north arm of Crowley, and we didn't move... More

Ten of us including the kids attended the 4th of July fireworks show at Lake Crowley. The show was excellent. We all had a good time. Getting into the landing by vehicle was pretty quick. Getting out to go home requires a little patience.

I was very interested in the Crowley Lake Columns and found its takes some effort to get to them. My approach was to rent a powered boat (half day about $60+) and drive across the lake. It was easy to rent, quick trip across the lake, and a fun experience. Upon landing on the beach you can hike to a... More

This is my "go to" lake for catching large trout in the Mammoth Lakes Basin. The average trout (rainbow, brown & cut throat) ranges from 2-5 pounds. You can fish from shore but catching is variable depending on the location and weather conditions. You can float tube early morning, although the winds typically pick-up around noon and you can easily... More

I phoned to make a reservation and the gentleman was very pleasant and tried working with our rig set up. But he asked about pets, that when it took a turn for the worst. I have a 10 yr old female shih-tzu with No eyes and a 1 year old rescue pitmix. I explained that our dog has been through... More

Lake Crowley will be at sight from many places if you ride to Mammoth Lakes. The lake is pretty large and in my opinion, as landscape, not so interesting. We may have gone while the lake was too low, perhaps...

Me and two buddies hired fishing guide Reid Linnastruth (RioGrande007@hotmail.com) for an early morning boat ride/fishing trip on Lake Crowley and we were greatly rewarded. Reid knew just where to go and provided all the gear. In no time, we were surrounded by other expert guides and float tubers keying off Reid's location. By late morning, it was obvious to... More
