It isn't very big, but it had many interesting things that my daughter loved. There are interesting telescopes that point out interesting sites visible from there. The view is amazing!

The docents are very knowledgeable and helpful to explain more detail to the curious. The cafe at the top was quite good for a late lunch. Hike around the Interpretive Center and take in the 360 views.

Gondola ride is inspiring and it leads right to the top of mammoth mountain! From the top you can see everything from the minarets to the lakes basin!

Had a "ski rest day" so took the kids on the gondola to the "Top of the Sierra" and it was great. Take the camera, wonderful photo opportunities up here.
