The earlier the better!

Must see destination in Philly. Can find anything your looking for but go early because the afternoon starts to get crowded.

We were looking for a recommendation for lunch and were told we should check out Reading Terminal Market. With two small children (3 and 6) we weren't too keen on the idea but decided to try it out anyway. The place can be overwhelming with tons of people and food options. It was super busy but the lines go pretty... More

Favorites were Dinic's, the doughnut place where they make it while you watch (had the apple fritters - ok, three of them!) and old city coffee, which I now order online to be shipped to CA.

There is something for everyone here! Traveling with the family and 3 children and it was nice to have a variety of food under 1 roof! From outstanding Philly cheesesteak to donuts to chocolate, seafood, fresh produce and flowers! A must do if in the area!

We came here looking for a quick bite to eat and ended up walking around and checking out all the shops too. Pretty much any kind of food you want will be here as well as some trinkets you can bring home to the family. If you're visiting Philly, you MUST make this a stop on your tour. Check out... More

I implore everyone to go here! The amount of food here is amazing and the different types is incredible. It's so diverse! There's a great buzz in there and if people watching is your thing, you are in for a treat. We treated ourselves to some good from Molly Molloys, and that was VERY nice. We had some great cheesesteaks!... More

Went for Carmen's Famous Italian Cheese Steaks (yummy) and enjoyed many other food and shopping delights. Parking is expensive. Make sure you bring ticket and get validated with $10+ purchase.

What isn't there to eat at the market. All the vendors were polite and very helpful even if they directed you to another vendor. Lunch hours are crazy so just be ready if you have small kids. The wait will start to get to them. Suggestion: eat a light late breakfast and get to the market about 230pm, alot shorter... More

Going to Reading Terminal Market is like going to Italy and eating at Olive Garden. Call me a spoilsport, but I just don't get the attraction. It's overran with tourists thinking they are doing something special with their lives. You can pretty much go anywhere in town and get the same food, often for less and for the most part,... More

It's nice, some stuff is overpriced, but it's in the city and close to convention center, criminal justice center, and regional rail stop. Termini Bros bakery is good (banana cream pie), and Bielers donuts are excellent. Di Nics did not live up to hype.
