This was a great introduction to the Reading Terminal Market. Carolyn gave great background of the building, murals, food stands, and the unique flavors of Philly. The Market is a must but could be overwhelming. We made stops to some of the food purveyors that...More

Offered only on Wednesday (less hectic) and Saturdays (much busier) in the winter (additional tours are available in the summer), this informative and inexpensive ($16.95/adults & $9.95 ages 7-12) tour covers the history of the local area and the market's 100+ year history. The walking...More

We did the philly food walking tour, and we're so happy we did. Our guide (the beautiful, charming, and amazing Judy!) was a fourth generation Philadelphian, and it was evident that she not only knew the history of the city, she also knew the funny...More

I enjoyed this tour but the name is a little misleading. This isn't the "food tour" many people are used to where you visit four or five food places and eat something between appetizer and small plate size at each one. The person who posted...More

What is the difference between this tour and the tour that I believe is offered by the Reading Terminal market? How long is this tour? I would be bringing three granddaughters ages 14, 13, 11 and wonder if they would find this interesting. Do you have a tour guide that would relate well to this younger group?
