This is an excellent museum for young children. There is a lot for them to explore and experience. The museum is spaced out well; never felt that it was too crowded and it is very clean. We had a pretty decent lunch in the cafe....More

Good for kids up to about 7. For adults there is a nice scale model of the huge 1876 centennial fair, and a interesting slide presentation showing the pavilions and exhibitions. Nearby is the beautiful Shofuso Japanese historic house with gardens and pond.

lNice idea, the kids can experiment and play with everything. we had a good time there.....but we found it too expensive. It would be better to have time tickets because the kids get tired and you can't spend all day there

I see you are planning to visit on a Saturday. My guess is that it will be more crowded than for our weekday visit. We went on an in-service school day so that it would be less crowded since not all school districts have... More
