Before my most recent visit, it had been quite some time since I'd been on South Street Philly. Flashbacks of my 80s teenage self came flooding in as I walked down the streets, searching for places I'd visited years and years and years ago. Some...More

South Street is fun for anyone. Yes, you'll find plenty of eateries and import shops, but what I like most is its historical roots. My favorite area is called "Fabric Row" where many Jewish-owned fabric shops may still be found. I can imagine there were...More

If your a mobile people person, then Philadelphia's South St. is for you. This stretch of Philly reminds me of New York's Greenwich Village. Specialty shops, Artisans, Restaurants, People and Rocking Bars. Great nightlife. Worth a visit. Ernest
