Living overseas I always look forward to stopping at IHOP and having a great breakfast. Food was fine but the store needs some care. A good deep cleaning might not be a bad idea. Waitresses and waiters were nice and helpful.

What a great, historic place. We began going to a few shows last season with friends. We are now subscribers. What a great plan .... five shows for the season for a couple for only $400. We have great seats, along with three other couples....More

I’ve been a subscriber for three years and think it’s a great deal for tickets in Philadelphia. Most of the plays are very well known and therefore do not disappoint. The theater usually have a great Christmas play as well. Tickets are much cheaper than...More

I didn't know anything about this theatre before going to see A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To The Forum, a classic Sondheim production. Apparently, its the oldest continuously running theatre in America! This year (2017) is the 209th season! I dare say its...More

If you like comedy you will enjoy the Walnut's performance of A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum. The main character, Pseudolus played by Frank Ferrante, is very well done and makes the play. The other actors are also strong and the...More

Going to the Walnut Street Theater to see a show is just as good as going to NYC at a more reasonable price. Having seen numerous shows in NY this theater ranks a very close second to see fantastic shows and not have all the...More

Jerry's Girls is a wonderful medley of Jerry Herman tines sung by three very talented and entertaining women. The costumes are very well done, the songs are engaging and performers are top notch. So glad we got to see this in the Independence Studio.

I just checked the theater's website and it looks like the theater is closed for the month of August. The next show listed is South Pacific on September 6, 2016.

Its not the best, but still good. Theater is small, so unless you are in a far corner, you are fine. Enjoy!
