Located in historic, old-town Philadelphia, this church is gorgeous. Lovely cemetery with green space that people are welcome to walk through. Beautiful architecture inside, with a unique high altar. St Peter's is a very nice church, even if it is kind of a weird one. The altar is under the organ at one end of the church, and the pulpit is at the other. Therefore, the pews face both ways. The church is also very impressive, especially the steeple and cemetery.

As a special part of our conference, we enjoyed a guided tour through the small historical cemetery and church.

A beautiful neighborhood on its own, we had a lovely walk on a sunny Sunday morning, stopping into all the historic cemeteries. St. Peter's in particular has a wonderful tour audio tour that you can follow. Many historic figures buried here, including several from the Revolutionary War. Also George Mifflin Dallas (namesake of Dallas, TX), famous American portraitist Charles Willson... More

This elegant and historic church has been well maintained and is used on a daily bases. It is situated in the heart of the Society Hill neighborhood. The cemetery has been featured in several feature films.
