Not exactly the stuff of Washington during the Revolution, but you can't get a better view of Philly than using the ferry. We use it to get to Adventure Aquarium. The only drawback is that they don't let you on till 5 minutes before launch....More

Great ferry ride to take for a concert across the river. Easy hop on from Penns Landing and no hassles of cars or taxis. Loved the night views of Philly when coming back from the show!

We took the ferry from Penns Landing to the Adventure Aquarium. It added one more bit of fun to the outing and was stress free. No parking issues or trying to navigate traffic over the bridge to NJ. My only complaint is the schedule is...More

I used the RiverLink to get to a concert in Camden. I was a bit apprehensive because I was traveling by myself and I knew the concert would get out late. I was pleasantly surprised - took Septa to Penn's Landing and the RiverLink was...More

We walked down to Penn's Landing and took the Ferry to the Aquarium in Camden. It was a nice ride, not long at all, probably 10 minutes. The fee was $7.00 I seem to remember, but that includes the ride back after visiting the Aquarium...More

Given that it goes to Camden, it really is the best way to go, if you're staying in Philly. It's a nice ride, although I have a personal affection for boats. Normally, there are ferries to Camden on the hour, to Philly on the half-hour,...More

We took the ferry from Philadelphia to visit the Adventure Aquarium. Most visitors don't know until they get to the riverfront that the ferry only departs every hour, so it helps to plan accordingly. During our weekday visit, the ferry left the Philadelphia side on...More

Yes, and waiting areas are covered on both sides. After 05 September the ferry only runs on weekends and concerts. See the Riverlink Ferry link on the DRWC website for times.
