We really enjoyed this experience as it was interesting, entertaining and fun to walk around to see and hear things you would not see or normally learn about in a normal visit to Philly.

Have you ever seen John Candy tell the bear story in the movie Great Outdoors? Our tour guide Ja'bar had the same story telling style and bravado as John Candy. We cover a lot of historic places and great ghost stories.

If you are looking for ghosts to pop out and scare you, this is not for you. I would recommend these peeps to do their research before committing to any type of tour in Philadelphia. Not to sound rude, but I have been on this...More

We all met up at signers monument and got instructions from our tour guide Anna, she gave us instructions to cross at crosswalks and if she got ahead of the group she would wait for everyone to show up before she started talking . From...More

My husband and I loved this tour. There was so much history packed into this 90 minute tour. Steve, our guide, was an excellent story teller and managed a large group of people perfectly. I was so happy that I could hear him clearly and...More

With so much to do in Philadelphia, don't waste your time on this. There is a lot of walking, but not a whole lot of stories, let alone ghost stories. I'm not sure if there are no ghosts in Philly but this tour does not...More

The ghost tour was just okay. It was a lot of walking, but I don't feel like we "saw" a lot. We took the 9:30 tour on a Saturday and it lasted about 10 minutes short of two hours! Plan accordingly. I feel like this...More

This tour was really fun. The tour storyteller was entertaining. His delivery was just the right amount of intrigue and spooky. 90 min walk around Society Hill that covers some very historic ground. Worth it. We did tip the guide at the end so bring...More

Our tour guide made this ghost tour great. I think his name was Javar? He added dramatics to his story telling. The period costume adds a nice touch. He added a level of spookiness to the stories that had many in our tour group very...More

The tour guide was nice but not a particularly gifted story teller; the stories could probably use a bit of work in terms of humor or pacing or both. I found my attention lagging as some of the stories took a bit longer than they...More

It kinda depends on the child. Most likely a teenager age group would be best. It's not a scary ghost tour. But the tour guide we had was a bit of a dramatic actor and was very good at delivering his stories in a spooky... More
