I haven't visited the Hall in ages. I just love the history and the wealth of knowledge the people that work there have on our nations history. I highly recommend the trip. January and February are free admission into the building and the security line was super short~

I braved a show storm to come down here and see the things I had always heard about growing up. The assembly room, the original senate and legislative chambers, the original Supreme Court's chamber, and the original founder's documents. If you're an American, or if you're not, you just have to come and see. The park rangers know their stuff,... More

This is the large mall behind Independence Hall. It includes the Liberty Bell building and is bordered by stores and business buildings.

Very knowledgeable staff, proud of our history, friendly and personable. Tours were about 20 minutes in each building. A must visit for every American and out of country tourists alike.

Make sure you get to the visitor's center early and get your tickets. We were there at 11am in late December and the earliest tour was 1:45pm. Tour guides tell a great story for both rooms and really put you in the moment.

Very interesting and the guides really enjoy their job in relaying their history to visitors. You are shuffled through the first floor but can enjoy the second floor at leisure.

Be sure to get your tickets for Independence Hall before you go to the security line. Independence Mall was clean and enjoyable. There are panhandlers though (with long, intricate stories) but not really a big deal. I took an Uber from the Marriott downtown for about $7 because they day I went was a bit chilly. Walk down to Ben... More

I loved going there because it brought back my high school history and sparked the interest of more in-depth learning. The tour guides knew the history well and you never felt as if they were be bothered by a lot of questions.Great to see.
