Beautiful grounds to meander at your own pace. The rose garden and fernery were especially nice! I went while the "A Waltz in the Woods" display was up, and that was really interesting to see and walk through!

It was our first visit back since late Winter. We made the visit especially to see the installation by Patrick Dougherty. We were thrilled to finally see the Rose Garden in full bloom and the honeybees dancing amongst the smorgasbord of flowers! It's a great place for kids of all ages, with lots to do, see and explore! If you're... More

This is one of my favorite places in Philadelphia. It is a wonderful place for adults and children. I took two of my grandchildren the other day and they just loved it. It is a peaceful, beautiful place and definitely worth a visit. Attractions for the kids are the Garden Railway, Out on a Limb, the Birds Nest and the... More

We very much enjoyed our trip to the Morris Arboretum. The real highlight is their large outdoor train display, which is sure to delight both adults and young children who enjoy those types of displays. We also really liked the different sculptures and statues we encountered. The only reason I gave it four stars instead of five is that I... More

If you find yourself in the Chestnut Hill section of Philly make a stop here and follow the lovely walks through the garden. Summer and Christmas are special as there is a train that is great for children.

Spent a very enjoyable morning at the arboretum. Lots of informal gardens, sculptures, a fun skywalk, and a large model train layout. Great activity for people of all ages!

The Arboretum is a real family place -- lots of gardens, plants and trees to see, but also a "walk in the sky" construction for kids of all ages. Our friend cannot walk very well so we took a wheelchair (available at the gift shop) along just in case. We only made it a couple of hundred yards down to... More
