There is a lovely walking and cycling path that winds along in front of Boathouse Row. The houses are huge and grand, and impressive. Seeing the rowers on the river is cool, too. There is a small cafe to grab a bite or beverage. Parking...More

The Boathouse Row in Philadelphia is so beautiful to see during the day and the evening. They have decorated the housed with all kinds of lights and that makes it really beautiful during the evening.

Most anytime of the day or night some group is out there practicing. At night the lights around the houses are beautiful and a sight to behold.

Boat House Row is great to walk along on a nice summer day, watching the boats glide along the river. But, in winter around the holidays, they are framed with lights and are just a lovely, festive sight to behold! If you're a holiday light...More

Boathouse row can easily be seen from the Art Museum. It is a peaceful, scenic area of Philadelphia. It is great to watch the crew teams work their magic on the river.

I highly recommend just to take a walk down the sidewalk down Boathouse Row. These houses, the river behind them, and the cold air at your nose takes you on a nostalgic walk past these historic, riverfront houses. Must see!

Hi, Ellen. My daughter is interested in getting married in one of the boathouses on Boathouse Row. I live in Fort Lauderdale and am trying to help with the arrangements but don't know much about Philly. Can you tell me which "house" you went to for the wedding you attended? I appreciate any help you can offer. Thank you!

It was a loooong time ago, the wedding was held outside, I'm pretty sure it was Undine, but if not had to be U of P because these are the two I hung around. Hope it works out for you, that would be a wonderfully memorable... More
