I walk this trail pretty much every day on my way to and from work. Always fun to see the sites, stroll the path or get some serious exercise in. Worth a stop if you are visiting!

Wear your bug spray and enjoy seeing nature. There is parking to keep car and unload bikes or whatever. Great restaurants so bring your appetite. The brewery was great with outdoor seating if the river.

Maybe I'm biased because this runs just a few blocks from my house. But I really think it's hard to beat. Lots of fascinating vistas to see and enjoy along the river in town, where things are more manicured, then more into basic nature on...More

Walkable, visually appealing, lots of hidden detail not visible from the road. I find interacting with the cyclists a bit hazardous, especially where they are riding fast and aggressively.

You can see rowing teams, cool looking homes that have historic architecture, rolling hills and a decent river.

This trail is very long and allows for a good exercise. It is multi-use and can get very busy on the weekends. It was recently renovated and city invested a lot in its beautification. Very good place to spend couple of hours on the river...More

What a safe and lovely scenic walk along the river. I was fortunate to go during the week when it was not crowded. The dog park was entertaining and the stroll along the paved paths provided an element of quiet from the bustle of the...More

You can catch a train at 30th St. Station (30th and Market Streets). There are steps from the trail up to Market st. Sections of the trail are a little hilly; some places relatively flat.

There is a Wyndham in the historic area of Philadelphia. A 6 minute walk from the liberty bell and many more sights.
