I really enjoyed my run along this trail. The area seemed very safe, the scenery was great and the trail is in wonderful condition. I just wish there were water fountains along the trail to fill up my bottles. Highly recommended if you want to...More

My hotel recommended me to take Walnut street down to the river, and there is easy access to the path via stairs down from the street. First turned South, but the path ended after about 500 meters, and then North running up for about 5km,...More

Philadelphia has a great bike path here. We spent three hours navigating the area around the museum as far north as Mannayunk and south to Market Street. We had our grandson so we couldn’t explore in totality. In previous year had biked in from Valley...More

This is a very scenic walk giving you a very good cross section of Philadelpia. I suggest you start near the Art Museum and walk southwest towards downtown and West Philly. You'll pass the rear of the Art Museum, see some beautiful gardens, see the...More

This path is easily accessible from the Museum and runs along the river. Lots of people using it, beautiful scenery and good police patrols. They were doing some construction - so double check before you go.

Depends on what you are looking for. I thought this would be a walk with scenery along the river but it is not. It is a walkway over the river but nothing to look at. It did feel like a safe place to stroll in...More

A wonderful path along the Schuykill River, perfect for a romantic stroll, a bike ride or a run. Lots of families letting the kids get their ya-yas out - it's one of the things that makes Philadelphia such a livable city. Lots of landscaping, so...More

Check with SEPTA which is the regional bus and train. I believe there is a bus between Philly and Valley Forge/King of Prussia.
