This museum is small, free, air conditioned (many surrounding sights are not), and has items from a variety of influential Polish people, including Copernicus, Curie, St. John Paul II, Pulaski, etc. Other pieces show life in Poland and Poland in World War II.

You can make it through this free museum in a half hour. It is really only one large room, but has some nice Polish things for sale and has some interesting displays. Nothing amazing but nice for free.

Last summer, while in Philadelphia, a buddy of mine and I decided to go here, as some of the sites were closed (it was a Monday) and wanted to visit somewhere rich in history. This place certainly fit the bill. Although its not that big (the museum is one large room) its still full of Polish History as it relates... More

Nice little museum. My husband is 1/4 Polish so he and the kids enjoyed looking at some of the exhibits. Takes about 10-15 minutes.

I did not know this museum existed, but was pleasantly surprised when I found it. My partner and I are not Polish, but we wanted to stop by and explore the museum. The woman who greeted us, taught us more about the exhibits, and invited/told us about the celebration for Poland's independence was EXTREMELY nice and helpful. I really liked... More

Nice to be able to see a bit of my Polish heritage in between visits to historic sites and local bites (of Philly Cheese steaks, pretzels and Italian Ice!) Very close to Independence Hall and Liberty Bell. Went with my mother quite a few years ago.

While in Philly we stopped by the Polish American Cultural Center Museum great to see the historical past of the Polish ancestors of my wife.. and trace back some of the history. The historians will like it and Polish folks as well..

This is a very small museum. I found the info about the Polish involvement during world war 2 to be very interesting and informative. You can do the entire exhibit in 10 minutes.

This is a great little museum and gift shop dedicated to Polish culture. It is a wonderful tribute and comprehensive history of the Polish history. It highlights many important landmarks in Polish history and and makes you proud to be embrace your heritage! Even if you (sadly) have no Polish blood to claim, come visit anyway and learn the history... More
