Northern Liberties continues to be my favorite neighborhood in Philadelphia. Yuppifying a little too quickly, rental and home owner prices are beginning to rise rapidly, but still the neighborhood offers a helping of hipsters, artists, gen x and millennial types. The shops and bars and...More

Northern Liberties is a great area of the city, and is one of our favorite areas. There are a lot of bars and restaurants in the area, including space where they host outdoor movies and sports, as well as concerts. There is a large parking...More

There are all kinds of restaurants and coffee shops and salons here. Basically anything you need, they have and they have multiple options for.

Northern liberties is ok. I live at the piazza Schimdt and I get the good, the bad and the ugly. The apartments are priced sky high, on average $1900 for a two bedroom, but they are new, beautiful and very spacious. Entertainment is cool, I'm...More

I love Northern Liberties. There are so many different bars, clubs & restaurants to choose from. Parking can be a bit of an issue but sometimes you can get lucky. I'd like to see them add some more upper class places to this area though!

Just north of center city is No Libs. Home to a lot of good restaurants like N3rd and The Standard Tap. If you walk north on 2nd street, you will run into The Piazza (?) just below Girard Ave. Shops and restaurants are there also....More

Northern Liberties is a great gem. Love the shoppes and the restaurants. I don't get here that often as it is "off the beaten path" relative to my travels; but I am very happy this gem exists!

Northern Liberties was one of the industrial areas of Philadelphia, today many former factories and warehouses are being redeveloped into condos as are many new developments as well. It has the potential to be a nice area but is still very far off. Much of...More
