There is a lot of things to take in and see. The movie and cyclorama were well worth the money. We were advised to not take the bus tour and to just take the auto tour. You can buy an audio tour in the gift...More

Lots of views and monuments for photos, but go with a tour to get the most information out of it as there is quite a bit of ground to cover as well as in town.

John was well worth the money making the battlefield and cemetery great teaching tool. We saw a lot of places and he provided a lot of great visuals to help understand how the battle timeline went with map visuals and points of interest.

The car tour is a nice easy way to see everything. However, if all you do is take the tour with the map provided you will be left very uneducated about all that you see. We should have bought the CD or downloaded the app.

You can't say enough about the beauty of the Gettysburg National Military Park. It's educational and interesting and beautiful. Have been there many many times and will continue to visit for many years to come.

A must see. Just a fascinating and haunting place. Hire a guide if you can it is the best way to see the park. Plan two days if you want to see everything.

We were last here in February before the snowstorm . It's always nice to get out and walk the trails and put oneself in the perspective of the 1863 battle. Each time we come, the staff is very willing to answer questions and make suggestions...More

Wonderful experiences. Buy tickets early for Museum, Cyclorama and Bus Tour with Value discount through Gettysburg foundation. Auto tour is beautiful, yet sobering. Rangers are knowledgeable and give special programs. The Museum (!!) and Cyclorama are not to be missed.

This NMP represents the best and the worst in Man. Brother fighting brother, father against son and friend against friend. Heroism, devotion and dedication on every tombstone. The number of heroes who lie here show the absolute waste of human life when a country with...More

I'm not sure how much the CDs are but you can download an app to your smartphone for $9.99. There's also a pretty detailed map you can follow which doesn't cost a thing.

I do not know how big the RV is, but some of the turns can be tight. Tour busses go through the park so it is feasible. Parking may be a problem in some spots due to limited number of spaces for large vehicles verses cars... More
