Well designed, although the military part of the cemetery also included tombstones from more recently deceased people. Some info provided but there could have been more.

Why would anyone come to Gettysburg and not visit the cemetery is beyond me. This cemetery is the reason the entire town is historic. The entire place is awesome. I spent hours in the cemetery.

Visiting the cemetery was a sobering experience. There are many unidentified graves that are marked only by a number. Upon entry, signage requests silence as respect for those buried here.

Must see and so moving to visit this cemetery!! We walked around the whole cemetery to pay respect to all the men who fought the battle,recommend this site!!

The National cemetery is a wonderful place to pay tribute to veterans of the civil war. Beautiful grounds, towering monuments, and the spot were Lincoln gave the Gettysburg address, four score and..... very moving to walk admist the many heroes of our new country

Gettysburg Museum was really good and should be seen first as we did. It's $14 for adults which gets you the movie, cyclorama and museum collection. The park is free and there are so many monuments to stop and see. Plan on a... More

Since l do not have a pet that travels with us I am not sure. Like most places l have seen some on leashes. My husband just informed me that the cemetery does not allow pets
