This was the best thing we did on our USA trip. We have wanted to come for a long time and it certainly didnt disappoint. One of the most comprehensive museums anywhere we have visited -so much to see and read. The Cylorama was excellent but we would have liked a little more time in there before being moved on... More

Both must see options when visiting Gettysburg. A nice attached restaurant with good moderately priced food.

this building is fairly new, and is the most recent home of the infamous cyclorama painting! the museum is huge and could literally take you hours to get through everything, the cyclorama is absolutely breathtaking and awe inducing. they have a huge gift shop and some concession stands! definitely a good place to start your trip to Gettysburg as it... Had not been to Gettysburg in over 30 years, but decided to make this a stop on our trip. We were both very impressed with the museum as well as the battle grounds. After so many years, I guess we tend to forget some of the history we learned so long ago and this visit definitely brought back to focus... More

Lots of information and things to look at. Did not go into museum, massive book store with wide choice of titles and very helpful staff.

This is a beautiful facility with a ton of information and exhibits. The only downside, it's actually privately run and costs $12.50 a person to enter and a National Park Pass won't get you in. We didn't pay for the museum as we decided to spend our time exploring the battlefield itself. If I had more time here I might... More

A thoroughly detailed museum on the Civil War - one of the best anywhere. Excellent exhibits. The film is okay for those not familiar with the battle. The Cyclorama - 100 ft. circular painting of the battle - is still magnificent after a century.

So much to see and do here. The cyclorama was awesome! The museum artifacts are great! We took a bus tour to Eisenhower's Estate from here too. Great gift shop and lunch too.

We stop every time we're in Gettysburg and still learn something new! Well done Parks Service! The battlefield guides are great - so knowledgeable, interesting, and make history truly come to life.
