We were walking down the street in Gettysburg and saw this really cool old-fashioned bus going along with a bunch of people on board. Turns out the bus was just starting out on a tour of the battlfield and their phone number was on the back of the bus. We called and signed up for the next tour. It was... More

Pickett had a very bad day at the Great Battle of Gettysburg, but that was 150 years ago and I think he's over it by now. Even he would have to appreciate how his story is told on this tour because it's really well done. General Meade would like it even more!

While our tour guide was enthusiastic and clearly knowledgeable, he spoke really fast and did not tailor the tour to meet the needs of our children (ages 9-12). They were not running the children's tour that day and we were told this would suit our needs. I'd look for something else for children and teens

Our group of seven took this tour on Remembrance weekend and it was absolutely terrific. The whole thing was just right for all of us and I was appointed to post a review for the entire party. So, multiply this posting by seven. Thanks to all who made our tour so enjoyable.

The tour was about 3 hours long and covered the whole battlefield of Gettysburg. It was really great and I would recommend it to anyone who has never been there. We had a marvelous time.

We visited last week and took our friends from California on this tours. It was really fun, very enjoyable and thoroughly informative. There were 12 people on our trip and we greatly enjoyed the small group and the nostalgic little bus. Five Stars.

We came; we rode; we thoroughly enjoyed. The tour took us all through the battlefield and the town and was sometimes serious, sometimes very funny; and, always quite interesting and informative. The driver was very engaging and kept things moving at just the right pace.

I was part of a group of friends who took this tour and it was a wonderful experience. The driver was a local man named Wes and he was absolutely a delight. The history presented was extensive and the "people-stories" were a great addition. We selected this company based on the experience of one of our group who is quite... More

First let me say, that the Historic Tour Co. is a tiny, hole-in-the-wall operation with one or two people. And that's OK! Just realize going in that that is what it is. It looks charming on the website and they his stork buses were appealing to us, which is why we booked with them. We had three family couples with... More

Touring in an old bus was fun. Weather was good so the bus was comfortable. Very informative, part of the narrative is prerecorded. Only complaint is that the 2.5 hours was a bit long.
