The Majestic Theater is located right in the center of Gettysburg. It is an older very nice place to see a movie or concert. On some Wednesday nights they show some older classic movies. It seems like they have a very good local clientele. Very...More

In October 2018, I was there with 800 other attendees to see the 25th Anniversary of Ronald Maxwell's Epic, Gettysburg. It was easy to get concessions before and during intermission. The sound was great, first time I had the opportunity to see on the big...More

We saw a great concert here one weekday evening. The interior of this theatre is very well maintained, opulent, and impressive. If the lights had been on it would have been so beautiful it would have distracted me from the main act! The acoustics were...More

We were lucky enough to see David Crosby in concert at this theater. Coming from the Boston area there aren't too many small venues to see very popular singers so when we saw he was coming to Gettysburg we jumped at the chance to see...More

The theater is nice and very pretty, but not very comfortable, especially for anyone near 6 feet tall or taller. We left our concert at intermission because it was too uncomfortable.

We enjoyed the Majestic for the Totem Pole's production of The Christmas Carol." The acoustics were great and seats very comfortable. Parking garage is close by, making it a breeze to get into the theater quickly.

We attend both live performances and films regularly at the Majestic and really appreciate its charm. If the theater's "founding artistic director" would just stay off stage and allow the performances to speak for themselves, the place would be perfect.

We live in town and frequently visit the Majestic. They bring top notch performances and movies to the area. It's a surprising find in a small, rural town.

Enjoyed Metropolitan Opera's season finale live streamed in HD. It was a deal at $23/head. Beautifully restored venue well adapted for wheelchair access.

Smalll venue so to me all seats are good. We sat towards the front on the side “ obstructed view “ for a concert and that was fine.
