This was her private cottage away from the large FDR mansion and i suspect to get away from FDR. Well known they had a marriage in the end of convenience. This gives you a feel for how much she shaped FDR and JFK's presidency

We are locals and visited this summer. We had a greet docent and she was very insightful on the home and Roosevelt. We were able to tour the second floor which is not often done due to the size of tours.

We decided to walk around the property instead of having to pay to enter the house for the tour. There was a nice pond, bridge and pool to see.
