Catty Shack Ranch Wildlife Sanctuary is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Our mission is to provide a safe, loving, forever home for endangered big cats, and to educate the public about their plight in the wild and captivity. We do not breed, sell, or trade any of our animals. Our current residents include tigers, lions, cougars, leopards, bobcats, foxes, and coatimundis (the last two are "honorary cats"). We are only open on select days, and last admittance is 45 minutes before closing,

About 16 years ago I was introduced to the Catty Shack at Sam's club. They were there to raise money for a manager that was killed during a robbery on Father's day. Not only was it a great thing to do, but at that time...More

We went in the late afternoon and was there when they fed the big cats. It was very cool. The kids loved and the cats were very active.

Wonderful learning experience and exciting to watch keepers feed these big cats from INSIDE the cages!

The lions, tigers and assorted other wildlife that live at Cattyshack are animals that were rescued from private owners and various circuses and zoos. The organization is non-profit and relies on contributions to feed the animals.

It was awesome. But you must go at night for the feedings. My husband loves animals especially Lions, and I surprised him with this up close view.

We went through the night feeding tour and we will definitely be adopting a big cat and returning again with more family. Truly amazing how much they care about these precious animals. This Sanctuary stands far above the rest.

This was a great experience at a great facility. Some of the places where they rescue these cats is amazing. (A lynx for a house pet, seriously?) It was amazing to see the animals up close especially at feeding time. My favorite was the white...More

You have to know when they are open and schedule your visit accordingly. The volunteer guides have lots of information and the lions and tigers and foxes have interesting stories. Smelly ones too🙄☹️
