This is a great way to spend a day. Not only does it offer great white sandy beaches, it is clean and gives you cooking spots. You can hike the trail the takes you through the woods past sand dunes right onto the beach. But...More

My favorite beach in the Jacksonville area. Worth the drive! I usually park at the north beach lot and walk the north end of the beach all the way to the lagoon. Once you get far enough up the beach you can find sand-dollar shells...More

What a gorgeous beach...be ready to walk to get to it. Big Talbot was beautiful in its own way. Campground is good but we were there for the beach. We also were close emough to drive to Amelia Island and Fernandina Beach.

This has walking trails through sand dunes, swamps and wetland and the beach. It is an intersting place but not that special.

This beach is perfect for walking - the sand is dense and flat, it's clean and easy to walk on and it goes for miles. On the flip side, it is just sand and water, not much else to pay attention too.

We were in Jacksonville for a concert birthday trip and decided to check out this state park along with Big Talbot and Amelia Island as well and we were not disappointed.

We went camping here in July, beautiful beach. We are not used to having to pay to access beaches, but it's worth it. Highly recommend
