Approaching Astoria from the north, this is the way to enter. You approach from a part of the old Lewis and Clark Trail, starting with an elegant airy high bridge and ending on a lower end as you enter Astoria. It is a great adventure,...More

I stayed at a hotel with a birds eye view of this bridge, and took a walk underneath it. The cement pillars holding it up were huge and the structure quite interesting. We didn't drive on it this time but have in the past....soaring high...More

Eye sore or symbol? Both maybe. We usually come from the other direction but it is a very high bridge and worth going over at least once.

It is a very large bridge that is very impressive. If a person has the time it is worth driving over.

Very beautiful bridge to see in the horizon. We did not drive over this bridge but it was very neat to look at.

Beautiful bridge, long very long. We enjoy driving over it every time we are in the area. Great view of the ships in the river

I have lived in Washington my whole life, yet had never driven over this bridge. It is a must, for the view alone.

This bridge rises out of the background to meet you. Watch it as it spirals up and out over the water. Then wonder as you drive round and over it. A special place and reason and visit Astoria.

Very scenic area, but the design of the bridge left a lot to be desired for me and would be way towards the bottom of beautiful bridges on my list.

Always enjoy going over the 4 mile bridge that connects Washington to Oregon and leads to the beaches.

You could see a big part of the bridge from the The Astoria Column, which is overlooking the Columbia River but not all.
