The food here is amazing. Everything is fresh and local. The menu has a wonderful variety so everyone can find something they like. The fish (tuna) and chips are fantastic. The chips are hand cut, thick and cooked to perfection. The salads are amazing!! The portions are generous. The service was great. The variety of beers will please any palate.... More

My husband and I visited here on our way to Long Beach, Wa. We were seated fairly quick at a shared table. We had a nice amount of our own space so it wasn't crowded at our table. I noticed there was an upstairs, didn't get to take a look but seems like there was a view of the harbor.... More

After driving over from Portland, hitting Shipwreck Beach, a few historical sights and then Astoria Column (all 164 stairs up and then down), we were ready for a beer. A really good beer actually and Fort George has quite a few of them. I started with an 1811 Lager that was just delicious. My son had an IPA that he... More

Super cool space in a historic building. Menus vary depending on the first floor or second floor. We headed upstairs where you get a view out to the water. I had a sandwich and ate the whole thing without thinking twice about it. The pizza looked amazing and I would come back for that. My friends highly enjoyed the beer... More

We shared the a combo house-special pizza and mushroom pizza. We wished we would have gotten a whole mushroom pizza because it was so good. We ordered a flight of beers to try four on this visit and they were all excellent. This is a large operation and patrons can find many different foods at their three restaurant spaces.

The beers is great too. And I've experienced their ginger ale - it went well with my lemonade. :) Interesting architecture and stories about the place if you catch a friendly server who wants to chat. We had to wait a bit for a table; the place was crowded and it seems that's the norm there.

On the recommendation of a local shop owner, we tried out this brewery and were not disappointed. The staff were all super friendly and helpful. Loved the unique atmosphere and historic site. We tasted several beers and I settled on a hefeweizen. The food was really good but their fries are to-die for! The server told me they are flash... More

Nice location overlooking an up and coming town. Great selection of beers of which they were happy to provide numerous samples before settling on one. The hamburger was large, messy and fantastic. Recently moved to Gearhart and will make Fort George a regular stop.

Friendly hard-working staff, great food and the brews that are spot-on. The sense of buildings' history is both well preserved and contemporary. The (albacore tuna)fish & chips was delicious. Restaurant is clearly successful as both a local hangout [a foursome playing afternoon cards and a table of beautifully tattooed young people having a lunch break] and as a fun tourist... More
