This fort is one of the best out there to see. Great example of early Indian Fort. Highly recommend stopping and seeing it. They continue to improve it. They have a golf cart available for handicapped.

Wasn't sure what to expect, but I enjoyed visiting the Fort. The information center is very good and you get a good understanding of life when the Fort was up and running.

To truly experience the history of the area, bring a good pair of walking shoes and plan on spending a few hours. Bring a camera for sure.

Was able to watch some cool history as they fired off their artillery piece a couple of times with the echo booming off the canyon walls. A special thrill! Enjoyed especially the hospital and the history there.
