Ok. First it was a mistake arriving late morning on a holiday when it was raining. So yes...it was busy and yes there were thousands of kids. It made the exhibits (the smaller ones) difficult to see and get time in front of. But that's not the museum's fault. Great selection of things to see, and one armed turtle, sharks,... More

Great activity in the inner harbor. High interest, high education. Great retreat to beat the Maryland heat if visiting in the summer. I've visited Aquariums from SOCal, Tennessee, NY to Grand Caymen. You don't have to love marine life to enjoy the visit.

We visited the aquarium with our 2 year old. There were lots of exhibits and even a touch pool for him to get involved in. He loved seeing all the different sea creatures. Especially the dolphins. I enjoyed the rainforest exhibit and the walk back down through the shark tanks. Overall a very good day out but rather expensive...$39 per... More

What a lovely experience we had at the National Aquarium! We deliberately waited until mid afternoon to visit so that we could avoid the school trips; what a great plan that was! We arrived around 2:15 and we had the Aquarium to ourselves! The exhibits were amazing and the personnel were quite approachable and full of information!

The interior tank is a tube you get to spiral through and see lots of sharks and fish. Special, exhibits are usually well done, You will learn about conservation from the museum and the plaza surrounding. They have an Outback dessert exhibit now and a rain forrest at the top, Dolphin pavilion has been a highlight in the past.

Went on Saturday, the best part is the shark tank and reef. The rain forest was a let down, saw nothing but trees. Not really worth 40 dollars.

Thanks for sharing your feedback. I’m happy to hear you enjoyed seeing the animals in our Blacktip Reef exhibit, but disheartened to hear you weren’t able to fully enjoy our rainforest habitat. Did you have a chance to chat with one of our exhibit guides, stationed in the rainforest and throughout our building? Along with pointing out all of the... More

We are fortunate in Baltimore to have one of the nicest aquariums I have ever seen. Great for kids & adults alike, this is a must-see attraction. Informational, beautiful, & fun! The shark tank is truly phenomenal!

We were here mostly to eat crab cakes so this kinda is the the category of something to do while waiting for them to settle so we could go again. It's a good aquarium, but we think it doesn't match Monterrey, Atlanta, or Chicago. Still, it has a bunch of interesting things, especially for kids.
