It was Spring Break and we needed to keep our five year old grandson busy. Port Discovery is the perfect place for doing just that. Plus, they had the Thomas the Tank Engine hands on display, which our grandson loves. They had so many different areas in the building with different activities, we went through every area first and then... More

We came here after a stay in downtown Baltimore. I brought my girls ages 11, 5 and 3. Navigating to this location was easy and parking was located next door in the garage. Bonus- the parking garage has a skywalk to Miss Shirley's cafe- go there! Getting in was easy. They have lockers available, they aren't huge and are either... More

Great place to bring the kids while in Baltimore, especially on a rainy day. Formerly the City Fish Market, Port Discovery offers three floors of interactive exhibits, craft-making opportunities, and climbing adventures. You can bring and store your own food in a locker, but the dining area gets really crowded. There are several dining options outside, however, with a Subway... More

We visited with my just turned 2 yr old grandson. There are multiple floors of all kinda of activities for kids of all ages. There are also separate rooms for the very young ones. We purchased a 1 year membership for $114 which allows advanced entry for 4 and other perks as well- since it would have cost us $60-70... More

After being stuck for 5 extra days from a snow storm in DC we traveled to Inner harbor Baltimore. We found this place and took our 6 year old grandson in there. It had adventure and hands on things to do. He loved it

We came here after a long visit at a doctor. There are a lot of exhibits but several are broken and need updating. The indoor jungle gym is definitely the best, it's 3 stories tall sturdy enough for adults to follow children up (though lots of tight squeezes). I'm not saying don't come, just saying it's an indoor playground with... More

My just-turned 3 y.o. boy had a thus-far unsurpassed blast here. (Another favorite was the Maryland Science Center). He is very active and at 38.1 inches tall managed all the climbing structures, some with help at first. Unique about PD is the mix of physical and educational activities. We were there from 10:30 ish to closing time, no nap, a... More

I visited this place with my husband and three children (ages 3, 3 and 6). Before I went I read the reviews and really wasn't sure what to expect. However, this place is so worth every bit of your time! The kids will love it and can spend hours upon hours here. They have a great system where you all... More

Port Discovery is a great place for children under 10. With 3 floors for the kids to go thru as well as a climbing section, children will have a blast. Each area has interactive spaces for the children to learn and experience each sensory tool. The water room was a big hit. Great place to go on a rainy or... More
