Went on a Sunday with 2 eight yr olds and 4 yr old. Good mix of activities for both age groups. Some of the exhibits are a little worn and need missing pieces but kids had a great time. Probably getting almost out of age range for the 8 yr olds. Still well worth the trip!

We love going to Port Discovery! There 9s so much to do for the kids (wouldn't recommend for under 1yrs old). They have a huge climbing area, a water room for kids to build things in water, kids playroom and they have a room where a staff member sings and reads to the kids. Bought membership and will continue to... More

Took my 5-year old grandson for the Thomas and Friends exhibit as the focus, but he had a ball in the entire place. The actual Thomas exhibit is pretty small, it's in the front area of the 3rd floor. We got there when they opened and immediately went to Thomas. It was nice to have 15-20 min of playtime there... More

We have been to several kids, play museums around the United States and Port Discovery is one of the better ones. A lot of activities for kids to do. A lot of restaurants and other items things to do in the area.

I have been taking my kids here for upwards of 8-9 years and as the time passes, the museum gets older and more tired. It has the potential to be great, but many of the displays and activities need to be refreshed and/or fixed. My kids still love it regardless...I just feel like it could be much better with a... My daughter is four and she loves this place. There is hours of things to explore and it only cost $15. We took the subway so parking was free and the subway exit is right next to the entrance of the museum. Just remember to bring a rain coat or change of clothes for the water room cause your kids... Great stop for the kids. They got a chance to run around and play while learning. There are definitely parts that are a little worn but what do you expect for a children's museum. My three boys 8, 6, & 2 loved it and it was the perfect afternoon stop.

This museum is wonderful for kids of all ages. There are three floors of activities for the kids to explore if you can get them past the first floor! There are hand-ons activities for kids to explore.

We came on a cold Saturday morning to find two long lines waiting to get in. These lines were very poorly managed, with no signs telling who should go to which line (one was for general admission and one for members). About every 10 minutes, someone came back to tell people which line to be in and each time some... More

We have visited a couple times, and our 3 year old has a blast. The climbing structure in the middle is a favorite, and he likes the water play room and the train and pulley a lot as well. Our 9 month old even enjoyed looking around and checking things out this time (last time she was asleep in the... More
