Saw this as a must visit place in Baltimore in Where Baltimore. Walked to it through an increasingly sketchy area on a Saturday morning and was sorely disappointed by the place. What I expected was a food emporium. What it was is a run down...More

Whatever food choices you desire, it's probable there! Buffet style foods of greens, sweet potatoes, chicken, fish, turkey wings, legs, etc., fresh produce and baked goods. There are so many vendors offering food and most of it really looks great! Of course, I purchased fried...More

Went to Lexington Market to have lunch at Faidley Seafood. Took the time to visit the rest of the market before lunch. It is not worth the time or effort for the visit, way to many closed shops and others that are not suited for...More

Dangerous. Dirty. Scary. I would never come here again. Every single person was rude. Crab cakes at Faidley's were good, but not that good. My safety is way more important! The End.

I was expecting a great market with lots of fresh veggies, local produce, but it was nothing but row after row of butcher shops, oriental food, burger joints, bakeries, and a few actual restaurants. The single book shop catered to locals. We tried a chicken/waffle...More

I think you can get the same food and that old time Baltimore street market at the Light St market. Smaller in size but the people and the place are cleaner. That doesn't mean you won't hear people cursing and swearing while... More

The market isn't unsafe; I work nearby and go regularly to grab fruit or some lunch. There is also security. Of course you should be smart; like in any American city, be aware of your surroundings. There are paid lots and a... More
