One of Baltimore's more famous sons. Nteresting site which gets surprisingly crowded on Halloween because of the kind nds of stories Poe wrote.

I'm from the West Coast, where cemeteries are NOT done right! A great cemetery needs elaborate headstones and above ground grave and mausoleums - and located in the middle of a bustling metropolis makes it all even better. Westminster Hall and its surrounding cemetery doesn't...More

Just a block from his home, Poe is buried here in the Westminster Cemetary. Either take a tour to drive by or make it part of a downtown walkingh tour. PaRKING IS NEXT TO IMPOSSIBLE AND VERY EXPENSIVE IF YOU FINE IT.

This site was incredible. I went to it right after having visited the Edgar Allan Poe House and Museum. I was interesting to see where he had lived and where he was laid to rest.
