Federal Hill Park offers gorgeous views of Baltimore City & is a short drive (or meandering stroll) from the Inner Harbor. Located in South Baltimore, there are often events in this park during the summer months. It's a great spot for a picnic!

With a commanding view of everything that is both fascinating and tranquil. Great exercise climbing up its front face - also good for dozing on a warm day. Shady an sunny and always feels safe.

Originally built upon to raise trading ship company flags to announce the arrival of ships into Baltimore harbor, it was later occupied stealthily in the nighttime by Federal Troops at the beginning of the Civil War, with cannon trained on the existing City Hall dome, to prevent southern, sympathizing politicians from voting to secede from the Union since maryland is... Easy walk to this park. Lots of space to roam around and enjoy the amazing views. A playground, too! Benches, wide sidewalks, some grass, trees - what more can you ask for steps from terrific restaurants? Really enjoyed this sweet park and the surrounding neighborhood.

Great views of the city itself and the harbor - all packed into a nice little park. A little tough to find available on street parking - but it can be found. Short hike up the hill to some of the best views of the inner harbor you can find. Worth the stop!

A great place for a lunch! Take a little time to read the signs and get the historical significance of the place.Parking may take... More

After eating at the Rusty Scupper, we took a walk up to Federal Hill Park. It's a very long, steep walk up the stairs, but once you make the climb, it's beautiful. I enjoyed reading and looking at the monuments as well.
