This park turned over to Baltimore County a few years ago and keeps getting better. The trails are plentiful, pretty, and well marked. There are usually a lot of great birds to spot along the trails too. Only negative there is little elevation but for a park not too far from the City this is a great one. In the... More

I like jogging around this park. It is surprisingly extensive and nice considering how hidden it seems to most people.

I am not going to tell you where or when to find them but there are a lot of edible mushrooms in this area. we live one zone further north so I need to remember to check this area out several weeks earlier.

The name was recently changed by popular request due to the negativity surrounding the name Robert E. Lee. It is now called Lake Roland. They have a dog park (a yearly fee must be paid). The park is well kept. Fishing and canoeing are allowed. There are porta-potties available.

It's a nice park as far as Baltimore standards, kind of an "off the beaten path" park that has become more popular and known than when I was growing up... There's an old train track and some cool trails if you wander around, a little stream and I think it's become a more popular area for the community to bring... More

The park is open from sunup to sundown and the closing time is posted up by the footbridge over the Jones Falls. There are lots of things to do at the park-some planned by the park staff and some to do on your own. Now (March 2015) is a good time to enjoy a walk, jog, or bike ride along... More

Park is perfect for a hike, mountain biking, or walking your dog. Warning...they do ticket if your dog is off its leash. Waterfall, streams, endless paths, 4 entrances (do your homework). Its big enough to see from several areas over several days. Enjoy!

Made a first visit to this park this past weekend. While our dog is not yet old enough to be in the dog park area, it is a very large dog park and gives the dogs a lot of room to run in a long straight line. And there's even a swimming area with entry into the reservoir for the... More
