Spend some time on 36th St., The Avenue, and go into the variety of vintage goods and art shops. There are many restaurants, and even a large Royal Farms convenience store. Everyone I met was friendly and had good local information to give. Visit Atomic...More

We just brought a friend to Hampden. She had never been there. We went to Cafe Hon for dinner and then to see the Christmas Lights. It was an enjoyable evening.

Went to 34th street in Hamden in December just to see the Christmas Light display. Parked a few blocks away and walked the single block of lighted houses and lawns. Very eclectic and amusing and typically Baltimore! Yes, it put us in the Christmas spirit....More

A tradition that started in 1947 is still carried out today. We always take a drive down to Hampden to see the “Miracle on 34th Street,” and this year was no exception. This is a display of holiday lights that takes place every year in...More

At 3333 Keswick Rd, just around the corner and in sight of the Miracle Lights, I️ run a Holiday Parking Lot. It’s been my pleasure to provide paid parking at my Christmas themed lot for anyone interested in Hampden and the light display. We charge...More

Different types of stores, diners and pubs. Seems like a very close knit friendly neighborhood. Parking is a challenge.

sorry I didn't see your question last week. Most places can handle a table for 8. I would go to the Café Hun, though very busy they have large tables, good service, kid friendly, and a family friendly menu.
