Much potential. Lots of ways of enjoying the quarry turned into a swimming hole with many different ways of diving into the stygian depths. Has a sandy beach, various facilities... read more

Haven't been in a long while, but loved picnics there. Choice of indoor pool, outdoor, reasonable entry fee, avoid the Quary please, too dangerous.

This place needs updating. It's no longer a place for the public to visit. Hasn't been for awhile. It uses to be nice and while ago. A family type environment with several pools.

It use to be a great place to go to spend few hours in summer with the kids and friends. it's still practical if traveling long distances to the beaches becomes a headache. The park should be upgraded it has seen better days.

Just this month, the quarry is closing for ever. Lots of memories for the locals, but no more. There are few swimming places like this around anywhere.

It needs to be remodeled, updated and brought up to Health Department codes As far as I know it is now closed. A good thing for the safety of all concerned.

This place is a mess. I've never been, but driving in I became worried. The parking lot is a disaster, and when I went into the facilities to get a glimpse of what everyone was talking about, ran into some young boys who were part of a Cub Scout thingy. It looked a bit nefarious with the Scout master coming... More

This place looks really fun for teens. However, we discovered when we drove up there that it is closed for the summer (maybe longer?). A Boy Scout camp is using the site. Neither the web site, nor any message on the phone indicates that it is closed for swimming. I hope somebody updates the web site, so others don't do... More
