As soon as you walk in it’s breath taking. A must see, even if your not of the Catholic faith. It’s free to walk around, but be respectful to mass. Either sit quietly and take part or get out and wait until it’s over.

Though we are not of the faith we visited. They call it the Sistine Chapel of the US. Absolutely stunning sanctuary, stained glass and all. It wasn't decked out for Christmas yet - but the usher who answered questions described how they decorate.

A gorgeous cathedral in Savannah. There are many nice people there. We celebrated our 50th Anniversary and the congregation made feel so special

Beautiful, ornate details! Loved it! Visited on a Monday morning so there was plenty of street parking and it was quiet inside. If you visit on a Sunday, touring hours are only 2pm-5pm due to regular mass schedule.

I visit Savannah often, but spend a lot of my time shopping and drinking versus seeing many of the "sights". This time I went on a short walk to see the cathedral and it was just absolutely stunning. Definitely worth viewing, although we didn't get...More

Visited St. Johns for a wedding in November 2017. The Cathedral is spectacular, Fr. Shrek (sp?) performed a very nice ceremony. The Organ disappointed me, for being a pipe organ, it didn't sound special at all.

We just attended the most beautiful wedding in this magnificent Cathedral. Everything was perfect! A bagpiper welcomed us, a string quartet with a harp played in the balcony, a soloist sang like an angel as organ music filled the air. Fall is the perfect time...More

This church was so impressive. The Celtic Knot in the bottom of the 8000 lb font is worth the visit.

This church, the only one we visited during our stay was located across from the beautiful Lafayette Square. It is free to visit however they do suggest a two dollar per person donation. This church represents the power, money, craftsmanship of the day. The beautiful...More

Only street parking is available but usually there are places available. The cathedral also is a designated stop on the bus and trolley tours, on/off all day.

Like the other people who have replied to this question I do not believe that there are any such Holy Relics on display in this Cathedral.
