Make sure to review mass times so that you don't miss entering. They do secure the doors at those times. Also, reconciliation times on Saturday in the confessional where etched in the glass is a depiction of the Bible story of the Prodigal Son.

Religious or not, this building is an architectural treasure. Restored around 2000, the atmosphere is a marvel. It's an active church, so avoid Sunday mornings for sightseeing. They have Christmas ornaments for sale also, featuring the stained glass windows. Peaceful and beautiful.

Well worth a visit - lots of steps to climb up to get in though. It’s free but they welcome donations.

Recommended by friends and also our guide on our tourist trolley, so we made our way back to walk through the church. We were blown away-- simply gorgeous inside... the details and windows were beautiful. Don't miss this church!

I really enjoyed my stop here in the cathedral. It was breathtaking with lovely blue ceiling and stained glass. Visitors were quiet and respectful.

No trip to Savannah is complete without a trip to the Cathedral. Regardless or your religious beliefs, it's a wonderful church and is well worth seeing for it's architectural beauty alone.

An incredible example of art, architecture and religion. Rivals any European Cathedral I have seen. Seeing the outside does not prepare you for the beauty within, a must see while in Savannah

This is a classic church, more so because it's in the South. You see plenty of churches of this caliber in the Northeast, but this is touted as one of the most beautiful in the south....which it is. Check it out.

This Cathedral lives up to its listing as one of the most beautiful with much history and many stained glass depictions. We attended mass there on Sunday morning. The pipe organ and the choir and soloist were wonderful.

One of the Most beautiful churches I have ever seen. The outside does not compare to the inside. You must walk in. It was so beautiful that’s what heaven must look like. I prayed knowing my prayers were being heard. I loved it.

There was a midnight Mass. Residents of Savannah told us that you have to arrive very early as the number of people are attending and late arrives end up standing outside for the Mass.
