Save your money. Go out for lunch instead. Nothing inside worth looking at. It's worse then wormsloe and we thought that was bad.

My girlfriend and I had been to Savannah before, but had never visited Old Fort Jackson. We are SO glad we visited! Sgt. Brad was incredibly informative and gave visitors a wonderful image of what life was like at the Fort, as well as it's history. I've been to Ft. Pulaski which is much bigger, but these employees seem much... More

What was there was really neat. However, there just isn't much to see. They had a cannon go off and that was cool. The person doing that was very informative. I just wish there was more.

The fort is in great shape and is much larger than expected. The tour is worth the wait. It can get hot so go early.

A short drive from Tybee Island, this fort was a gem for both the history buff and for someone interested in live action. Sgt. He was very knowledgeable and funny, and not seemingly bothered... More

Just 3 miles outside downtown Savannah is this great piece of history. Perfect for families with school age children. Be sure to get there for one of the live cannon firings (check their schedule). The Sergeant gave a great, energetic description of what it took to load and fire the cannon. Also great, not too long, film about the Fort... More

Visited this fort that was involved in the Civil War. Arrived just in time to hear the talk from Sgt Brad. For 45 mins we were royally entertained with the history of the fort during the Civil war years. He was very informative but also kept our attention with some light hearted moments. He had an old fashioned barrel loading... More
