I have visited this attraction! When in Savannah, this museum and educational center, must be on your list! All of the Women who work there are all indoctrinees of the organization. They personify the organizations origins, and embody the reason for it's success in contemporary America! Plus, the history, and place, give you a real feel of Julliette Gordon Low,... More

Having been a Girl Scout way back when, I was looking forward to seeing and touring her home. Unfortunately, they are closed for annual maintenance from Dec. 31 to Jan. 12. Hopefully, we will get back to Savannah and get to do the tour at a different time of year.

We had one of the best guided tours at the Gordon Low house. We learned quite a bit about the Gordon low history and this was one of the few houses that allowed pictures and gave us time to ask questions.

Our guide Charm was wonderful. She brought Daisy to life. This is a house that should be on everyone's tour list.

I was a GS from the earliest age, through college. I met my husband by selling him a box of cookies. (We were both teens). Any trip to Savannah HAD to include this visit. I learned so much about Juliette and her family, her talents, her life, all very interesting! The room set aside for girls, is equally interesting and... More

This is, admittedly, not a great museum for those not familiar with or interested in Girl Scouts. However, for those who are or were Scouts, it is a must see. They have done a lovely job creating a small but thorough history of Girl Scouts in this renovated carriage house. There are original uniforms, a brief movie and scrapbooks to... More

I was asked to chaperone my granddaughters troop for a trip to the birthplace. The guides are very informative and held the attention of the girls. It is a great place to visit, not just for Girl Scouts.

We toured the house as part of the Ghost & Gravestones ghost tour. The house has a lot of history and is supposedly haunted. There are a lot of antiques and the house is quite beautiful. Anyone that has been in the Girl Scouts would probably enjoy touring the house.
