We chartered a boat that picked us up at our rental homes dock. It was a very nice and peaceful island. Great for shelling, we found so many horseshoe crabs, sand dollars, whelk, and various other shell. Really enjoyed having the island all to our selves.

We have been going several years to Blackbeard Island with our sailing club. It is absolutely one of our most favorite places.

Blackbeard is a pristine island in an almost natural state, I have been visiting the island for the bow hunts and fishing for many years and it is always an inspiration to everyone who visits. My family has been going to this area for years saltwater fishing. Blackbeard Island is one of our favorite destinations.
