My uncle and I met up at my hotel, which is around the corner from City Market. We were hungry so we walked over to the area and had plenty of options to choose from. If you are unsure what you want to eat but want a variety of restaurants to choose from, this is a great place to start!... More

The City Market is a quaint little street with a few shops, pubs and restaurants, but we were expecting something more like the Charleston Market. We enjoyed a great lunch there, but didn't spend as much time as we'd anticipated. Walked up a block to Broughton where there is a fun shop called "The Paris Market" and lots of other... More

Bustling on a Friday! Variety of stores from art to pralines. Crowded but a pleasant polite crowd. Live band playing adds to the ambience of a lively exciting experience. Find a spot to sit and people watch.

The City Market has good lunch dining outside and pretty setting. The stores are all geared toward tourists with minimal businesses having higher end things to purchase

While in Savannah we decided to visit the City Market on the last morning of our stay. We arrived about 10:00 to find that nor many shops were open and not all vendors ready for business. The candy shop was amazing and we found one shop with souvenirs to take home.

There were a lot of shops, but lots of breakable shops when traveling with a younger child. I also couldn't find coffee anywhere!!

This is a good place to visit with restaurants and shops. Also, one of the FEW places that has public restrooms. Some neat shops, including Byrd's cookies. Some interesting art shops upstairs. Good place to sit and people watch, or get a beer and listen to music in the evening.

Take the Trolley ride and stop off to walk around City Market. Lots of shops, restaurants, bars, live music, areas to sit and relax. You can then hop back on the Trolley and continue the ride.

We had a lot of fun on Friday night at City Market. Bars, restaurants and live music. Felt safe for two women at night which was nice as it was within walking distance of our hotel.
