Did the Blackwater Creek canoe tour. It was beyond awesome! I am a bit scared of water but Wilderness made the whole experience very calming. After we booked, Garrett (I think) emailed us very detailed instructions and exactly what to do. Our tour guide was so helpful and didn't make fun of me for being nervous. He let us set... More

My husband, 21 and 17 year old sons, and I had been wanting to paddle a swamp and looked into Congaree National Park, but decided against it after reading about the family that go lost there trying to venture out on their own. When we found this guided tour with Wilderness Southeast on Tripadvisor we called immediately to schedule. Garrett... More

I brought a group of high school students on the Blackwater tour with Garret. This is the type of activity that groups visiting Savannah should be lining up to do. Virgin cypress forest, easy paddling, great scenery. This is exactly that type of activity that otherwise suburbanite young people need to do in order to see the real Southeast U.S.... More

Booked the Blackwater tour with Garret, and it was absolutely wonderful. He was very knowledgeable about the wildlife and gave some especially fantastic restaurant recommendations for downtown Savannah. This was a very unique experience it being my sister and myself and Garret. We did pass a group of 20 something kayakers, I am sure they didn't have any where close... More

Katie provided an educational and entertaining tour on the black water. She was very knowledgeable about the trees and wildlife. We saw lots of fish, 2 small gators, and lots of old, beautiful trees. The canoes, paddles and life jackets were in good shape and we felt very safe on the water. The tour may have been just a little... More
