Ebenezer Creek -- Amazing!!

I had always wanted to kayak among the trees. Absolutely amazing cypress and tupelo trees growing up out of the water.

This is a good way to have an active day or new experience (first time kayaker.) Most of the Georgia Coast can only be experienced out in the water. The guides are kind, helpful and knowledgeable. I do think kayaking requires some confidence in the water and physical fitness. Plus sunscreen, water and bug spray.

My husband, 15 year old son and I kayaked Ebeneezer Creek with Kathryn. Great trip! Beautiful scenery and Kathryn shared her knowledge of the history and the natural surroundings. We all enjoyed it! Hoping to do another trip with Savannah Eco tours in the future.

I took a kayak trip and really enjoyed it. The trip was beautiful and timed according to the tides. I felt I did a decent workout but also felt relaxed and refreshed. We had some time to spend on Little Tybee Island to walk around which was a treat. Kristin, the trip leader, was glowing, enthusiastic and helpful. I'd love... More

When researching fun things to do in Savannah, I came across a picture of Ebenezer Creek, and I knew that I had to experience that special place. Savannah Canoe and Kayak provided the perfect way to do so via a 3-hour paddle down the creek and back. The creek has tall cypress trees with roots that spread out into the... More

I took a 3 hour kayak tour with Nigel, my wife and two daughters (age 16 & 18). Nigel was a great tour guide. He is very knowledgeable, friendly and has a ton to say the ecology of the marshes. This is a must do adventure.

Our guide Matt was great. SCAK provided everything except sleeping bags. The cost was comparable with an overnight stay in a nice hotel. I had no idea how comfy Kayak camping would be compared to backpacking. I may have to retire my pack.

Enjoyed a break from historic Savannah touring to appreciate the beauty of the coast. Ben and Mayme were skilled guides who safely led us to Trybee island where we walked around and explored. Interesting impact of the recent hurricane. Kayak equipment needed repairs while out twice. Ben was very patient and knowledge. Great guide!

Zac and Tony took our group through the Skidwaway River on a nice relaxing tour. They talked about the history of the region and eco system. One lady on our tour was celebrating her 80th birthday by kayaking for the first time ever. Cool. We've kayaked a fair bit - they provided excellent instruction for the newbees.

Our guide Zack took 4 of us out from Tybee to Little Tybee Island. The water was as calm as could be. Two of the group were rookie kayakers and Zack took the time to teach strokes and safety to make them feel more comfortable. The trip over to Little Tybee was relaxing as was walking on the very deserted... More
