Beauty in the park

One of the best attractions in Savannah and it's free! The Spanish moss covered entrance is enchanting. A great place to relax and have a picnic.

A wedding had just ended when we arrived. Such a beautiful setting in front of the fountain. We sat on the bench and took in the scenery.

So beautiful and extremely well maintained. There something for everyone, an amazing kids playground, great picnic spot, lots of history and a nice place to relax and chill out for a minute.

This park is GORGEOUS and you can practically have it yourself at night!!! The ghosts of Savannah's past lurk in the shadows and whisper tales of intrigue as you wander the paths of this iconic park. No trip to Savannah could be complete without a trip here.

Savannah has really grown on me. Why? Because it forces me to slow down (considering the fact that I'm from the NE, this is huge). There's no better place than Forsyth park to slow down, read and people watch. The dancing fountain makes for an attraction all in itself. The majestic tree tunnel leading up to it creates an ambience... More

Beautiful and largest park in Savannah - 30 acres of grass and gardens with large sound stage for concerts and festivals. Easy walk to or from downtown.

This is Savannah's 'Central Park". Next to blocks of beautiful homes on the west side. Winding pathways with beautiful trees and an antique fountain. Great dog and people watching. Home of the fantastic SCAD Sidewalk Arts, where students create chalk art on the pavement. I saw it for the first time this year, and it was great. Drew a huge... More

I use to walk through the park ,as a child and as a teenager, every Sunday,on our way to church.. we have ate in the park after church service.. AND enjoyed the rest of the day there on the benches, before we went home.. this was way back in the 50s -60s-70s, and it still has charm and beauty and... More

One of the many amazing parks of Savannah but very enjoyable for joggers, dogs, and a site for outdoor entertainment.
