This is the second time we have been to the Lucas Theater, and are not disappointed. It is a lovely older theater, and the staff is amazing. They truly enjoy the theater themselves, and share that enthusiasm with the patrons. We went to see a musical show, Tommy Mara and the Crests, Joey Dee and the Starlighters, and the Soul... More

We attended the Marshall Tucker Band concert here. It is beautifully decorated from the 1920s era, I believe, with balconies, gorgeous light fixtures and great details. Comfortable graduated seating made it easy to see even over tall people. Definitely will be back.

This is a beautiful theater and a great venue for a concert. We had wonderful seats on row H. The space to cross others is amble so that you aren't getting your feet stepped on when people have to get out.

Attended the Nutcracker with the Moscow Ballet here with a group of friends. Our seats were in the balcony which afforded a breathtaking top-down view of the stage. The restoration work of the past is amazing and the building shines. On the other hand: there is no elevator so disabled seating must be on the ground floor. The stairs are... More

Just saw a play "Johnny Mercer and Me" and it was delightful , naturally the songs and we are long time Mercer fans, but more so for being in this theatre which is absolutely gorgeous, must try to see interior even if nothing is playing. I dont know if they have tours, but if not, they should.

We are at The Lucas Theater a lot since we are Season Ticket holders for the Savannah. Philharmonic. It a beautiful old Theater with many historical touches. The seats are comfortable and the acoustics are good. It has a snack Bar, good restrooms, very kind ushers! It is close to many good restaurants.

It is one of the five theaters used during the Savannah Music Festival (last week of March and first week of April) each year. It takes a lot of theaters to present 75 concerts in 15 days. We have been going for the last five years and have seen about ten of their concerts in the Lucas. It is a... More

I had a lovely evening at the Lucas Theatre watching Forrest Gump on the big screen (perfect for Savannah!) The theatre is beautiful and the staff were lovely - they told me the history of the building and it is a really interesting place. A great local treasure. My only criticism is that the air conditioning can get a bit... More
